Philia in the Community
Nourishing Ideas > Philia in the Community

Community and caring citizenship have many dimensions. Almost every aspect of our lives can be lived in a way that either enhances community or negates it. Most of us, if asked, could come up with a list of qualities that define a healthy community. But how do we incorporate those qualities into the various dimensions of our lives?

In this section we explore different aspects of community. We invite you to explore them along with us by visiting the pages below. On each page you will find articles, stories, information and resources relating to one of the themes, along with links to other relevant organizations and initiatives.

The themes listed here have evolved out of the discussions and dialogues we've had to date. They are by no means exhaustive. We welcome your comments and contributions on these themes, as well as suggestions for additional themes to explore.
